Founded on March 8, 2001, Femmes Maestros is an international association for the promotion of women conductors.

Projects and achievements
The association organizes international musical events showcasing women in classical music. Its work continues with the authorities and the media, through conferences and symposia.
Members
In its twenty years of existence, the Femmes Maestros international association has brought together women conductors from all horizons, both for concerts and symposia.

Musique & Médecine
The Femmes Maestros association, in collaboration with the Université libre de Bruxelles, presents the concert “Musique & Médicine”. The event will feature the orchestra I Musici Brucellensis and the presence of Dr. Bernard Lacave, who will speak about the impact that playing a musical instrument can have on the body.
The concert will include a diverse program with works by Max Richter, Arvo Pärt, Stefan Kisielewski, and Heitor Villa-Lobos.
